Privacy Policy

GlanceDay is an event countdown app for Lock Screen and Live Activity for iOS. It is built by an indie developer and designed to keep your information on your device.

What we collect

GlanceDay does not collect personal data on a custom server. There is no GlanceDay account, no custom backend for your event data, and no advertising or analytics SDKs in the app for this privacy narrative.

• Events and app data — Stored only on your device using Apple’s local storage (SwiftData). They are not uploaded to a GlanceDay server.
• Widgets & Live Activities — Run on-device using data already on your phone. They do not send your events to us.
• No ads / no tracking SDKs — We do not embed third-party ad or tracking networks.

Standard platform services (for example, App Store distribution, iCloud if you enable it yourself, or system diagnostics you choose to share with Apple) are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies — not by a GlanceDay backend.

Purchases

Optional unlock purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store / In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy terms apply to purchase processing.

Children

GlanceDay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because event data stays on-device and we do not operate accounts, there is no GlanceDay profile to collect from a child. If you believe a child has provided information in a way that involves us, contact us and we will help as appropriate.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect how data is handled will be reflected here before they apply in the app. The current version is always at https://glanceday.pudmi.com/privacy.
